• 42% of employees registered within 14 days of launch on 1st June

  • Over 6,000 card transactions already made

  • Employees gain increased support for cost-of-living pressures

  • Card- and app-based reward and recognition work alongside financial wellbeing tools

Warner Hotels has replaced two separate employee benefit providers with a single integrated solution from Aslan. The card-powered solution combines reward and recognition, benefits hosting and communication, on-demand pay, savings and cashback into one employee experience. In the first 14 days since launch on 1st June 2026, 42% of employees have registered for the app, and made over 6,000 card transactions.

The hospitality group operates across 16 UK sites, employing over 3,000 colleagues, including head office desk-based teams and hourly-paid employees at the hotels. It has implemented Aslan’s platform as part of a wider strategy to update its employee value proposition and create a more connected approach to financial wellbeing and recognition.

Previously, Warner Hotels used separate providers for employee recognition and benefits, and for earned wage access and savings. However, the organisation has simplified the process for employees, while adding more support with ongoing cost-of-living pressures.

The new platform combines reward and recognition, cashback, discounts, (fee-free) on-demand pay,  and benefits visibility within one app.

Mia Shander-Kelsey, Head of Reward and People Operations at Warner Hotels, said:

“Our aim wasn’t just to replace existing providers. We wanted a more innovative, holistic solution that could enhance value for employees, while simplifying the experience for both our colleagues and internal teams. Although both our previous solutions served a valuable purpose, we wanted to bring together financial wellbeing, recognition and day-to-day support that felt genuinely relevant in today’s economic environment.

“This means rewards and recognition sits alongside cashback, discounts, benefits and on-demand pay within a single employee app. As well as allowing colleagues to budget by reserving a set amount of their pay to use with the Aslan card each pay day.”

James Gozney, CEO and Founder, Aslan, added: “A key factor in Warner Hotels’ decision was our ability to integrate card- and app-based reward and recognition alongside financial wellbeing tools. They had a particular need to strengthen peer-to-peer recognition.

“Early employee engagement has been strong, with 42% of invited employees registering 2 weeks into the launch. Across our clients we find employees use the Aslan app and card an average of 30 times per month; it’s used to improve life on a daily basis, rather than occasional moments. This implementation reflects a strong desire amongst employers to consolidate solutions across reward, recognition, benefits visibility and wellbeing offerings into a single destination for employees, improving visibility, accessibility and engagement with workplace benefits, while reducing administration.”
