Calling HR Professionals – Do you need to get more from your Benefits Budget?
18th September 2025 6pm-9pm
Penny’s Bar at The Garage, 7-9 Rathbone Place, London W1T 1LY
The London HR Connection and the HR Connection Group is delighted to welcome you along to our next live and ‘in person’ networking event where we will be exploring how best to ‘Stretch the Benefits Budget.’
As well as the chance to network face to face over a glass or two of wine and something to eat, we will be joined by HR and reward industry leaders to discuss and debate the challenging pay and reward landscape that we are facing.
In the current economic climate most businesses are struggling to maintain a healthy bottom line which means there is little or no budget available to enhance their employee benefits proposition.
The emphasis therefore is on making the available budget stretch further and, if possible, reconstructing the employee benefit package to enhance its ability to attract and retain employees whilst not breaking the bank.
You will hear from our panel of senior practitioners and subject matter experts about opportunities and real examples including:
- Renegotiating and restructuring your benefits
- The use of salary sacrifice to gain tax efficiency
- How to introduce low or no cost benefits which will enhance your employee proposition
Our panel of speakers will include:
Sarah Lambert is Global Reward & Engagement Director at the leading international food producer, Hilton Foods. Prior to joining Hilton Foods she was Director of Performance, Reward and Engagement at Lithia and was Head of People Transformation and Change and also Head of Global Reward at Jaguar Land Rover.
Ian Hodson is the Director of People and Culture at the leading care and retirement housing organisation, Housing 21. Prior to this he was Head of Reward and Deputy Director of People at the University of Lincoln and also held roles at Mars and Prudential.
Karl Cummins is the national sales manager for NFP and has over 25 years’ experience in the employee benefits and financial wellbeing industry providing strategic consultancy and guidance to employers of all sizes across the UK from new start-ups to FTSE 100 organisations.
This discussion and our panel of HR and reward experts will be moderated by the Chair of London HR Connection, Craig McCoy, who has served as Chief People Officer for multiple businesses across sectors primarily in the health and social care, technology and media space.
This event is being held in conjunction with NFP, the market leading employee benefits and pension strategists and is kindly being hosted by Wagestream, the specialist in financial wellbeing solutions for frontline workers, in their in-house bar, Penny’s.
HR Professionals are invited to the next London HR Connection live and ‘in person’ networking event at 6pm on Thursday 18th Sept where we will be exploring how best to ‘Stretch the Benefits Budget.’
